Easter & Summer 2026
Join us at Bootham School in the historic city of York for a language programme with a twist... We are bringing young people together from across Europe and the UK to combine English language learning with cultural exchange and global discovery. Taking place during Easter and Summer 2026 and suitable for those aged 12 to 18 year. Here is a taste of what to expect.
- Join young people from around the world to form a unique multinational community
- Develop specialised language knowledge tailored to your needs, age, interests and abilities.
- Build from the classroom, using your language knowledge to explore the English speaking world beyond.
- Live on site and enjoy exclusive use of the school’s extensive sports and recreational facilities.
- Visit the Yorkshire coast, the North York Moors and a ride on the steam railway used in the filming of Harry Potter!
- Get a taste of London with two days to discover the UK’s iconic capital, including a major West End show.
Study Placements
From 3 months to one year
Take the plung and join one of our longer study programmes at York College or Bootham School. Placements last between 3 months and 1 year, giving students the opportunity to spend and extended period living and studying in the UK. About Us
Founded in 2017, Education Together was created to inspire young people to take the best of themselves and use this as a springboard to discover the world beyond their doorstep. We work with organisations and individuals from our base in the northern English city of York to deliver this goal. We do this by...
- Delivering short experiences for 12 to 18 year olds – helping them develop language and interpersonal skills in partnership with others, from the UK, Europe and beyond.
- Supporting high-school placements, providing the opportunity for people to spend an extended period of time learning and living in the UK.
- Helping young people living in the UK to meet prticipants from overseas and take part in activities alongside them.
- Developing bespoke projects and partnerships, working with school groups, Further and Higher Education centres, and civic society organisations to build understanding and skills.
- Providing opportunities for young adults, including our Connect 2027 global leadership conference, in celebration of our forthcoming 10th anniversary year.
